Mirror Mirror

I’m not here for your disrespect,

Good or bad your words have an affect.

Say what you want to say,

‘Cuz you’re fueling the fire to my art today.

Such a pretty face and yet so ugly inside

What did you think, that I was gonna die?

The joke is on you if you think that way,

‘Cuz I’m over here about to slay.

You’re not welcome in my life

When the only thing you bring is strife

They say the haters gonna hate

Ding dong, keep that up ‘cuz you only making yourself late.

Late to the game of living in the light

Which I’ve grabbed onto with all my might

You might be a hare

But I’m happy being a tortoise…

How’s it looking over there?

The sun, the moon, the stars and earth,

All of it shines bright for me.

But you live in the dark,

So for you, it’s hard to see.

You over there showing off,

While I’m here grinding away.

Mirror mirror on the wall,

Which one of us is the toughest of them all?
